why is my transaction stuck?
usually its max fee is below the current base fee, its tip is too low for builders to pick it, or an earlier nonce from the same address hasn’t landed yet (every later tx waits behind it).
how does cancelling work?
you send 0 to yourself with the same nonce and higher fees. once that lands, the original can never run. nodes require at least 10% more on both the fee cap and the tip; the tool adds 12.5%.
do i pay twice?
no. only one transaction can use a nonce. whichever lands first wins, and the other is dropped without costing anything.
